Australian Representatives - Open Men's Crew

Congratulations to Bulli Men's A boat crew consisting of Shane Geloven (sweep) Ben Lowe Heath Mercer Dean Roberts Adam Barlow (filling in for Dan Porra) who contested the SLSA selection trials yesterday at Elourea.

Strong racing against the best crews in Australia resulting in the crew being selected as the Australia Life Saving representative open men's crew for the Trans Tasman Test Series in New Zealand in February 2015.

To say the boys are excited is an under-statement!

This is the 2nd Bulli crew in it's history that has been selected to represent Australia in a Trans Tasman Series, the 1st one being back in 1991 Robbie Meijer, Mark Davies, Peter McLaren, Rod Mercer & Chris Mercer.

Rod (father) & Heath (son) now representing Australia 24 years apart, how good is that.

Bulli has a strong history with members representing Australia in surf sports, education & lifesaving, with previously 17 members on 47 occasions represent our country. Now we have 22 members in our 102 years of history that have gone on and represented our country.
