100 years of patrols = no lives lost

Well done to all of our patrolling members this season. Another awesome year of community service by our members and to reach "100 years of patrolling with no lives lost whilst surf club members patrol our beach" is a great achievement.

Big thanks to our junior parents & members that made themselves available when urgent calls went out for assistance with patrol requirments during the season, especially around major surf sports events.

Many thanks to our Life Saving Team of Jake Hogarth (Club Captain), Dave Greene (Vice Club Captain) & Jamie Caldwell (Vice Club Captain) for looking after our patrols during the year. Also to Sean Taylor for his surf guard duties imputting patrol hours for all of our teams. To Maria Caldwell for the continued surf guard emails & mobile messages about what patrols were on what days.....a valuable tool in surf club land & a great reminder for our members.

Thanks also to Al Green & Scott Gordon for looking after our IRB & ATV during the season, very rarely a hiccup.

Also not to forgot our First Aid Officers Kimberley Fleming & Mitch Hand for always making sure our vital first aid equipment was always ready in our first aid kits.

Thanks to Saul Duffy at Bulli Pharmacy for the supply of first aid resources during the season.
