3 members selected in NSW Teams

Congratulations to Hannah Minogue & Mitchell Fagerstrom on their selection in respective NSW Surf Life Saving Teams.

As a result of their consistent performances so far this season and some great results at the NSW Inter-Branch Championships at Redhead over the weekend, Hannah has gained selection the NSW Inter-State Team & Mitch has made the NSW U21 Development Team.

For Hannah this is a great reward for her committed training & results. She will compete as part of a very strong NSW Team at the 2012 SLSA Inter-State Championships to be contested at Homebush Aquatic Centre on Sunday 22 January 2012 (Pool Rescue events) & Queenscliff Monday 23 January 2012 (Surf/Beach events). The team will go into camp on the Thursday evening in readiness for the championships. Keith Caldwell has also grabbed a gig as an Assistant Team Manager for the NSW Team at these championships.

Mitchell is off to the beautiful Mount Maunganui in New Zealand as part of the NSW Surf Life Saving U21 Development Team that will contest the 2012 Lion Foundation Open Surf League on Saturday 11 February & Sunday 12 February 2012. NZ's leading competitors from each region contest this event with a seperate U19 & Open competition format happening over the 2 days where the NSW Team will get an opportunity to race against NZ's best.
